First Wreck

Well, I was headed home from school and going down the local Hwy 11(2 lane road). And my neighborhood is on the left so I had to come to a complete stop to wait on a few cars so I could turn. For some random reason I looked into my rearview mirror, and the second I looked up I saw the driver behind me's neck jerk back and a crash and then his car slammed into mine! 3 car pile up! The car that caused the wreck was a guy I went to school with and his mom showed up right as the cop did. This bitch had the nerve to tell the middle car that her son didnt hit him!!! We looked at her like she was crazy. He(also pothead) chewed her out and she got offended and threatend to call his parents! She told the cop to tell the kid to settle down. Of course the cop ignored this crazy bitch. Then she told her son to never pull off the road after a wreck even if a Cop told him to, just to wait until his parents were there. The officer turned around and told that pyscho that if he tells someon to do something by god they better do it. And then he said "I think its time for you to leave"!!!!

Anyways my tailgate and bumper are gone and my back right plastic fender thing is hanging on barely. Idk about that back right area that covers the 5ft bed and wheel area. But what does something like that run?! $3,000+? I dont care the price since my insurance isnt paying. I'll pics in the a.m.

 

Bummer dude. I'm glad nobody was seriously injured. That kid is in for a long and painful life with that awesome parenting. My dad would have shown up to kick my ass for being stupid. He would have begged the cop to take my ass to jail. The kid is going to get tuned up for taking his moms advice. No wonder he's a pot head.

 

No, the kid that got sandwiched is smoker not the mother's kid. But shes a complete idiot.

 

I rarely, I mean rarely get upset. And about 30mins after all that. I got to work and i got out and punched my trashed tailgate atleast 5 times because of that dumbass lady for claiming all this stuff and she wasnt there. My knuckels were bleeding and scraped up. I swear I never get upset. Ive lost my temper but that set it off.

 

hey tacomaman07, I have 5 years insurance adjuster experience, and just by looking at the photos, that could be bad. Maybe the frame is bent? Check underneath and make sure that the frame is not buckled or bent, no cracke undercoating, etc. Any signs of anything fresh is what you're looking for.
Hope it works out, make sure you don't get a cheap made in china bumper and brackets.
