I put them in plastic bags from the pet store and didnt use any additional air oxygen to fill the bags. Then I placed them snugly in a styrofoam cooler filled with an inch of water. The entire ride was about 9 hours from time of bagging to arrival. So far all fish are looking good *figers crossed* only fatality was my aquarium which suffered a crack on the bottom from sitting in the bumpy trailer.

Take them to a fish store and have them bagged up with oxygen, or http://www.kordon.com/kordon/products/aquarium-pond-accessories-2/breathing-bags#suppliers! and transport them in a cooler to maintain temps. I think my buddy buys these bags on ebay.

Here's a moving thread you might find helpful, but it's a reef related one. http://www.nano-reef.com/topic/205722-steviets-guide-to-moving-a-tank/

I have all wild fish that I caught while fishing. Smallmouth bass, sun fish, blue gills, and about 10 or so craw fish. I raise my own meal worms/beetles to feed them. Free big fish, and free food. I'll take a few pics and post later when I'm home.
