    I finally traded in my 2012 Subaru Outback 6MT on February 8th, 2015 for a Tacoma!


    I had to upgrade because I bought a new boat and the Subie wasn't able to tow it.... So after a whole weekend of thinking about it, I went and got a 2015 DCLB TRD Sport. Needed the long bed for gear and camping.... And it has not disappointed me once (except for the turning radius)...

    Here we go!





    So it turns out when you spend $60 on steelies they are real pieces of cr@p... Unbalance-able, heavy, and gave the rig a horrible ride on the highway. Time to upgrade....



    I realize these are a bit out of order, oh well. CBI Bumpers came in, couldn't be happier with the quality of their gear!





    Got the Bushmaster 2.0 on and the Dakar hybrid up front, time to go test some approach/departure angles!

    It has been a while since I updated my build, so here goes...
    A couple of weeks ago I upgraded my front suspension, after seeing Alexis's Kings in action:


    Finally got around to doing the diff breather mod as well, very stoked to have so many write-ups on ;little mods like this, makes life much easier


    Also cut the exhaust bulge off of my All-Pro T-case skid, nice flat belly now

    Ordered some new bedside decals, which I'm honestly a bit bummed out on, only because my hasty install gave me a couple of air bubbles, hopefully they work themselves out


    ...And broke the 10K mile mark, amazing how fast I put miles on this thing....gotta ride the bike more

    Installed some extended brake lines today from @OCTaco , fit perfectly, no issues! After reading other threads I was worried about having some difficulty with the flare nuts on the hard lines, but stoked to say everything went smoothly.image2.jpg image1.jpg image3.jpg

    I decided to make a bed mat for the pup out of some astro-turf I had lying around, turned out pretty nice! Until the RTT GB goes through, this will have to do for camping as well, but it's pretty comfy!
