I pull mine right out and put them in the wall mount compressor to adjust. Inverting the bolts made pulling a coilover a literal 10 minute job.

if you have the small spring compressors you can do it on the truck in 5 mins, jack up the front end and let the suspension droop put the compressors on and just tighten them enough to take the pressure off of the collar then you can spin the collar by hand then release the spring - done…i’ve done little adjustments that way for years

It all depends how crazy you go. Could do a bare minimum LT build with 934’s for probably 6-7k. My last MT front setup was damn close to that. My LT setup I’m 12ish in just the front. And you can go wayyyyy deeper than I did.

I have the JD kit with 18x600 with the preload collar backed off all the way and it sits way too high. Ordered 16x600 which are on their way. Was running 16x650 and it sat much lower than it does now.

Where are your pivots at? I’m betting this is playing a roll too. I’m all the way back. So 1/4” forward at the pivot.

I think that spring choice isn't as cut and dry as some may make it sound. I've been collecting a bunch of different rates and lengths to fiddle around with what spring I like the best then will have the COs retuned once I get a good feel for it. It's kinda like racing, everyone is going to like a little different feel and reaction out of their truck. You really have to get out and do a bunch of testing to find your sweet spot.

Weird, same here. Any link on tacomaworld has an extra bit slapped on the front end and it’s causing issues.

    Try this one.

Or do a google search for RSR30MM and it should be the first result.

Don't see how that would make too much of a difference, but I'm 1 spacer forward, so 1/2" from stock.

18x500 or 18x550 would have been a better call, you will need too much preload with a 16x600 if you want any sort of ride height. I personally don’t care for 16” springs as they don’t allow for a decent ride height without a lot of preload.

I feel that one. I have 550’s all the way up to 700’s on the shelf for MT stuff. Along with multiple leaf packs and random leafs

We need to start a “spring swap group” on here so people can play around with different rates. I guess the silver lining is that at least the springs are pretty cheap... every time I want to play with rates it costs me $630 for two shocks :( @RonRon23 we can start our own club now too! Lol

also this is my my cost, not MSRP

Haha. I’m sure I’ll be trying a bunch of different ones. Kevin wants to ball park me at 400-450x 26” and a 250x8” tender spring.

I was kind of doing some rough measuring last night. Bringing the wheel base around 131-133” brings the coilover eyelet right about the rear firewall and about 4” of ground clearance at the link pivot. That’s about 10” shorter than it was.
