fix for axle wrap on a stock truck???

    20% tint, painted handles,painted grill, wet okole seatcovers,sockmonkey decals
    my trucks had bad axle wrap since new and its bone stock, like when pulling out from a stop u can feel it move and clunk some...is there anything i can do to stop this?

    Well you can get a Bud Built traction bar. That will help minimize or eliminate axle wrap.

    OME replacement leaf springs.

    Mine had it pretty bad too. I didn't realize to what extent until I was removing my driveshaft for the first time one night. Every time I would loosen one of the rear flange bolts the leaf springs would turn into an "S. Never had any issues with sagging or anything, just a consistent leap frog effect when taking off from a stop.

    All this went away after I installed helper springs (Hellwig - 981's). They're single leaf helpers and install in like 20 minutes. The only downfall is that they do raise the rear by and inch or so. But they also make hauling heavier materials less embarrassing.

    im not a racer, its just aggervating at redlights or when i dont come to a complete stop!

    Superior Automotive is the brand.No part # but its the one's that say they're for mid-size and 1/2 ton trucks with leaves up to 2 1/2" wide. $44.98.
