Having recently moved to VA, they require a state inspection. The inspection place put a scratch in my dash removing a previous sticker. Is there any way to repair this? If anyone has any shops to recommend near the Hampton Roads area, I'd appreciate the info.

I would put that on the inspection place that did it.

Yeah they said they would so that's the plan, I just need to find a way to fix it since they don't specialize in interiors/detailing.

It looks like they sliced the dash with the razor used to take the old sticker off. I’d look at a detailing shop or auto upholstery shop for advice.

Someone should be buying you a dash.

Don't think there is anything you can do to that textured plastic that wouldn't end up looking worse than what it is now.

Yup, any sort of repair will just be a bandaid, there's no way to properly and fully fix that without just replacing the dash. If it's not a big deal for you then a good detailing/restoration/upholstery shop may have some decent solutions.
