Neither me or the previous owner has any documentation of the clutch being replaced... to be honest, I don't know. It bites strong and has zero signs of slippage. It's hard telling. 226k on a stock clutch is very feasible with a good driver that doesn't beat on it. I've seen it before.

Bought mine last year with 218k km, previous owner said he'd just changed the clutch with that previous year.
Anyways, it didn't start chirping till ~230k km, learned to do deal with it till recently crawling through bush roads hoping to see wildlife. Not freaking happening. Hope someone figures a once and for all fix that lasts more than a few k km.

Is there a part number in this thread anywhere for the f150 master cylinder? I bought and installed the TSB slave rebuild kit when I replaced my clutch and TOB and the chirping is only worse now. Trying to find the part that includes your f150 spring.

Since the dawn of time a clutch release fork had a return spring attached that made sure the T.O. bearing didn't touch the pressure plate with foot off the clutch pedal. It was well known that "riding the clutch pedal" prematurely wore out the T.O. bearing. It's the very reason we made "toe play" adjustments- to create a gap between the T.O. and P.P. A bearing that doesn't spin doesn't wear out. A bearing that constantly spins... You get the point. But now some manufacturers have made these clutch set ups with bearings that are supposed to ride the P.P. Why? So we no longer have to adjust toe play? So they just created a problem. Like vehicles without gas tank filler caps. I'm old school and say keep the T.O. bearing off the P.P. when not in use. But I understand this is the opposite of what Toyota is trying to achieve. But look at the s@#t storm of problems they caused.
