[Fixed, I think] What is this sound!? I don't think it is normal.

    Goddamn it. This is my exact problem. I have my 20k service this week and I am going to mention it. I bet I get the runaround.

    Exact same issue here. Went to dealer and they replaced front shocks and mounts under warranty. The noise went away for 6 months and has now returned. They blamed the Bilstein shocks as the issue. It's very annoying.

    A lot of my noise stopped after I replaced my rad support mounts with energy suspension poly mounts. My factory rubber ones were shot

    I have similar noise when I turn into the driveway . Shop foreman said they had similar issues but don’t know how to fix it. I called Toyota of North America so they can document it . Eventually it will be a recall

    Excellent video, I have that exact same noise on the driver's front while driving over the same type of speed humps. I'm heading out now to make a video to show to the tech, cause you know the gremlins never come out to play when the tech is in the truck. Service appointment scheduled for March the 6th.

    Haha, Yup!

    Been trying o get this fixed for 16 months now. Finally started a case with toyota as I'm sick of wasting my time going to and from the dealer only to have them "not be able to recreate"

    Finally took the service manager and tech for a drive and re created it over every god damn speed bump there was.
    How they were not able to recreate it is beyond me. Well see what happens!

    my second gen has started making this noise here in there. a quick metalic pop. I need to get under her and put a wrench on things, i wanna check the front inner bumper (the aluminum piece across the front)

    Yeah try different dealers. After the fix, show the original manager the work order. And tell him to suck it.

    UPDATE:
    Just returned from the dealer minus my truck. Front body mounts are bad. The tech advised that over the last few months he has replace 8 sets on 2017 2x4's and 4x4's. He believes that a TSB is coming.

    He used the terms "frame horn" or "radiator mounts" are bad.

    I wonder if the dealer replaced the wrong mounts in my truck. They say that they replaced the front mounts and the sound is still there.
