You're layout is completely diff. from mine and it's really difficult to hear any localization on video but your A/C comp. is right below the alt. and the sound sure sounds loud when camera is pointed there. Have you turned off the compressor and listened? It's engaged in the video.

Fan itself? Water slamming into the fan blades might of bent one? Making a funny sound now? They are also clutch driven so maybe something with that?

Could also take the belt off and see if it goes away all together. Doing that for a few seconds wont hurt anything.

maybe.....I dunno. Usually they either stick closed or freewheel.

He should have started it with everything disconnected from the belt. then worked them. A/C and steering are the only ones that are hard to identify as you can't detect a non-smoothness to them.

Actually, the A/C when off should spin pretty easy.

Won't hurt to run pretty long actually, not 'til hot but if you watch the gauge and have a good battery charge 2-5 minutes should be fine.

You can also use a broom handle as a stethoscope. I know it sounds dumb but it works. One end in your ear and the other very carefully put the other end on each accessory clear of the pulleys until you can narrow it down.

yep, turn off the A/C so it freewheels.

Did you turn it off/on while running to see if made a diff. in sound?

I know some people never turn theirs off, I rarely turn mine on.

wood on the component body. I don't put much faith in that one myself. Good for hearing thumps, not squeals, metal rod is better tuned for that.

I've tried with or without it being on. In fact I think you can see it spinning in the last video

This is what I was thinking.

I’m determined to get your truck sounding better...have you checked your water levels by chance? Coolant levels.

Remember how I said the coolant need a flush. I still haven't done that...which makes me think the water pump is all fuckied...

It should feel notchy by hand spinning it then.

If you're not finding ANYTHING to feel bad by hand spinning, it's pwr. steering.

If the noise disappears without the belt then I know it's not the fan clutch.

    Also all, this might help.

What about that tensioner in between the 2 new idlers and the crank and fan @ :08 seconds?

it does sound worse on that side of the engine, not pwr. str. side.

As in could the tensioner bearing be pooched? I thought about it briefly. Wouldn't be too hard to replace no? Unless I have to do the whole tensioner

it's the most common bearing to go bad as it bounces around and get wallowed out. Yes, they make just the bearing at a bearing place or you can get the pulley off the tensioner or replace it all incl.the tensioner spring.
