ok so back in march i had a small rock chip on the bottom right corner of the driver side rear door. i sanded it down, primered it then touched it up with paint. well the recent 8" of snow caused the salt trucks to come out. got the truck washed yesterday and the paint came off the chip and i can see a very little bit of rust forming on the chip.

how do i get this permanently fixed? if i need to take it to the body shop then so be it. but i need a permanent fix here before this rust spreads and i need a new door.

just to update, took my truck to the body shop. paid 228.11 to have the chip fixed which consisted of sanding it down, primer, paint, and clearcoating the whole door. plus he buffed out some scuffs and fixed a few scratches!!
