Will FJ cruiser 17" Alloys allow fitment of larger tires without clearance issues?

Or are they basically the same as the 17" trd sport alloys?

    Thanks!

Seeing the third gen section forced me to get a Ford...
depends on the model of the alloys. i believe they have some that are 5.5" BS (same as the sport) and the TT alloys are a 4.5" BS that would allow the wider tire w/o rubbing the UCA.

I have those wheels on my 08 Sprot DC 4 x 4, and they are a direct bolt on. You can even use the same lug nuts and TPMS.

With this wheel you can use a 265/70R17 tire with no clearance issues.

Anything larger will require a lift.

What lift and tire size are you running? I like the stance on yours.

General Grabber AT2 LT265/75. Just got them Friday. Very Happy.
I have Bilstein 5100s set at 2.5" up front and 1.5" blocks in the rear with the shocks and the TSB springs. Rides sooo much better now than It did when I had the 2.5" spacers and factory shocks.
