FJ cruiser v6 engine vs taco v6

    Hey I have checked the spec of the FJ cruiser about the v6 engine, why the FJ cruiser have more power and torque than the taco v6, I thought it was the same engine they used together...

    Same engine. You're talking about 3hp. It can be something as simple as exhaust routing.

    From what I understand it is due to the fact that the FJ is tested using 91 and the Tacoma is tested using 87.

    That is exactilly why the difference in h.p. listings. In my manual, it says that best performance is achieved useing 91 octain. :)
