    That would be cool. Probably years away from prototype stage to actual production.
    One can only hope.
    Until then, I'm happy as a clam with my FJC!

    TRD SC, UCON, CNG conversion, RC 6" (lifted 4"/3" air suspension) w/FOX 2.5, 315/70R17 Duratracs, RECARO seats, etc.
    Not interested. FJ Cruiser is just what I need, I don't want any modern version of it.

    Unfortunately its unlikely. The FJ was discontinued for many reasons, including poor sales, which would probably prevent them from making a new one. Plus it would be less niche and too modern to be as good as the FJ.

    I can't help but feel there is a market for FJs. They essentially compete with the Wrangler, which, admittedly, has a lock on that market, but clearly people love the concept.
