Does anyone know what the biggest All Terrian tire you can fit on a stock FJ 4x4???

Trying to pass the info to the wife before she heads up to Discount Tire here in the next hour.

It has the stock 265/70/17 on it right now

i am trying there.. but nobody seems to give a crap.

    one guy said a 285/70/17

she has 265/70/17 on it stock..

but she wants an A/T tire, i was messin with this tire calculator thing.. is a tire more likely to rub if its taller or if its wider..

    like a 255/80/17

The wife took it in.. and told the guy to make sure it didnt rub before she bought them they turn tested it and drove down the street and back and had no rubbing..

Dark knight, found me a thread from another forum for FJs that had pics of an FJ Stock that had the same tires.. so we wernt too woried.. if it was gonna rub she was going to get a smaller set .. she really just wanted A/T tires for a more off road "look"
