don't you guys think driver's side door panel is so flimsy?

when I roll up window of driver's side all the way, the whole door panel gets pushed against my left knee. When I took my truck to dealer for transmission TSB, I showed it to worker (I don't know if he was a mechanic or not) said that it's normal, said "it's a motor".

My 2005 corolla's door panel is way more sturdier than 2016 Tacoma, the door panel doesn't get pushed against my left knee when I roll up window all the way.

Does anybody noticed a same issue?

Am I the only person concerned about this?

Might be more pronounced to you since you're touching it, but it's normal so far as I have ever noticed on previous vehicles. It might be a flimsier panel, too.. there are sacrifices made when trucks are targeting MPG goals, and weight cutting of plastic parts and body panels is where it's done.

I haven't had a vehicle that the door doesn't "swell" when the window is all the way down or up.

Normal. They all do it. I don't see it as an issue. And the weathstrip on top moves when the window touches it.
