Hey everyone, been lurking around here for a while but need some advice. I know there are 10000000+ on floor mats so I apologize and I know I'm gonna get the "try the search" guy. However, I can't seem to find a rock solid answer even though I know its out there.

Anyways, I just picked up a 2000 Tacoma 2.7L 4x4 Manual last week and need some good mats. I really want to get some Weathertech digital fit or the Husky counter part but both of those companies start making them for 2001 and newer. Do I have any custom fit options?

Donahoe CO's, Deaver leaf paks, Lockright Locker, All Pro body armor ( sliders, front and rear bumpers ), All Pro under belly skids, Warn M8K w/Masterpull synthetic line, Dual Optima battery system, 4 ea LightForce Striker 170 offroad lights, 8 ea wired rock lights, and plenty more I'm sure
I just use some cheapo chinese mfgr'd mats.
Throw them away when they get to looking thrashed.

But I don't live in snow country
so dragging the earth in with me
    is a minimal thing.

I do think it's a good idea to utilize
the rung(hook) that holds the mat from sliding forward.
    Especially on the drivers side.

    with my cheapo mats...
I simply poke a hole in the mat...
    and it is done.

According to Husky Liners, both Heavy Duty (Part #51111 / 51112 / 51113, depending on color) and Classic Style (Part #35111 / 35112 / 35113, depending on color) are available for your truck.

According WeatherTech, both All-Weather Mats (Part #W3-W20) and All-Vehicle Mats (Part #11AVMSB) will fit your truck.

FWIW, I bought my Classic Style Husky Liners through eBay, and remain very happy with them years later. (There are currently ~50 sets of each color for sale, ranging in price from ~$81-$102.)

If you can find them I highly recommend the OEM All-Weather mats. Unfortunately they are discontinued but you could always try classifieds if you aren't in a hurry.

Are the weathertech All-Weather and Husky Heavy Duty custom fit or generic?
I should have clarified I knew those were averrable but thought they were a one size fits all solution.

I looked for weather tech mats in the past, I did not find the laser cut design mats for the 95-04 trucks.

    Hello,

Have you looked into CatchAll Xtreme Floor Protection Mats? They make a mat that will fit the 1996 - 2004 Toyota Tacoma. I hope this helps!

I've got weather tech's in my 01 and love them. Wouldn't put anything else. Actually my mats made my Dad and a bunch of my friends go out and buy them for their trucks.

Just bought a set for the front of my 2000. If it fits an 03 it will fit your 00. Also fits in my 97 perfectly.
