I want to procure some good rubber floor mats for a 2012 Tacoma regular cab. Reading through other posts it seems the consensus is that the OEM rubber mats aren't very good and everyone loves Weathertec. However, Weathertec only shows the digital fit liners available for the double cab. Are there any differences between the regular and double cab as it relates to the front mats?

It appears that the front Husky mats are the same for all cab configurations, so that would seem to indicate the floor pans are all the same. If I order the front set of Weathertecs for a double cab will they fit OK or will there potentially be issues? The Husky liners would probably work, but I don't particularly like the diamond tread pattern.

The mats are for my dad's truck, so I'm not intimately familiar with the changes for 2012 and don't have easy access to look/take measurements. It does have two retention posts (twist style, I believe) at the very back of the floor pan on both driver and passenger sides. His truck is an automatic, so no clutch pedal to worry about. TIA

Anyone? I know the regular cabs aren't real common, but thought someone here would surely be able to help.

Tacoma is stock and staying that way, Pickup is TBA as of now.
Is you're truck a manual or auto? If its a manual, you will have to cut out a small chunk of the weathertechs to get them to fit so your clutch pedal won't hang up on it. Other than that, it should fit, I don't think the floorboards are any different.

I got the OEM with my truck and they blow. Get the weathertechs from truckaddons.com.
