Looks good! Im gonna install my maxtracs as soon as I get my truck back.
Pretty easy to install, when we did Nam's I think they went faster & easier that the rear.

 

I say do it anyway. It'll push you to do the front sooner.

Also, you can say goodbye to axle wrap at that point too.

thanks man! they dont seem too hard to install, my mind has been everywhere lately...from not wanting to spend money and just give modding a break for awhile to getting spindles, a soft topper, 35s, bumper/winch...*Sigh*...lol

 

I think most with maxtracs & coilovers set at 1.75 measure like 26" hub to fender. If that helps any.
I sent you a pm with a link to a bumper for sale in Alabama but wasn't sure if it was close. I saw a soft topper for sale in the b/s/t section.

Found this at dinner tonight. Nice finding something like this in the Appolo Beach area. I didn't realize it was so ritzy out there.



Oh yeah, also had the biggest/best tasting shrimp i have ever had. They were literally the size of my hand. As big as most chicken fingers.

 

if you're sittin level now, i'd think you'd prob be bout 3.5-4'' nose high with maxtracs, then if u drop ur coils, you'd only be like 2ish high

BUT how r u level now, don't u have the all pro 3'' rear? so ur rear was already high, now it's 3'' higher, and u only went 1.75 in the front? or do those coilover give you more than that?

its relatively level, the front is still about an inch lower than the rear, and i thought whatever you added in the front, you double that for lift amount, but I honestly dont know...its pretty much level now though

 

Hopefully I'll be back out there soon. My clutch is pretty thin ATM so I've been passing on the wheeling so I don't kill it completely. But, I expect to be getting some extra cash soon so I can get a new clutch, at which point I'll be ready for some action.

If I get the new clutch ordered by the time it happens, I'm hoping to make Guy's Hardrock meet. If I make it, it'll be interesting to see how much better the Odd Green Taco does from back before I did anything to it.

Edit: By 'here' do you me that Compound place? 'Cause, yeah, it looks pretty fun. After the clutch r&r, i might be up for a trip out there.

tru, yea something like that, my understanding is if something is 1'' different, it'll give you 1.5'' lift, but yea i know some have said double, i didn't realize the coils gave 2'' diiference = 3-4'' oh well, truck looks good though, you'll like the maxtrac's too

Seems like it's in the ball park price-wise. Mines a '98 with about 50k more miles on it and I gave 5200 for it (although, mine is also 4WD V6).

 

yea it's not like crazy deal or anything, just clean truck, i just say price is weird cuse the numbers, like u know those random 2993 or 1907
