I'm kinda new to this muffler exhuast stuff but Which muffler is better flowmaster 40 series or super 44? I'm debating which one I should order. Im looking for one that sounds good when you start it up and deep rich sound but not exaggerating loud or to low . Any suggestions on which one is better ??

Ive had a Super 44 on my '14 since Saturday and am already looking into changing it. Sounds decent at idle and very low throttle… Other than that sound like crap and under full throttle it sounds like a civic with no exhaust.

I just installed a 40 series yesterday and im happy with it! It sounds great exterior and interior perfect deep growl. Yea man I'm pretty glad I didn't get the 44 cause a lot of people where telling me that it's not really that great

the magnaflow was much much better. sounded better, performed better. I had it dumped b4 the rear tire and I liked that a lot. don't have the truck anymore because the frame rusted out so Toyota bought it back

Flowmaster was popular back in high school :). I had two vehicles with them and removed them both. Flowmasters are notoriously LOUD and known to drone. Personally I would go with anything else. I really like magnaflow and Dynaflow.

I tried a magna flow which was nice but not very loud at all, I than tried a thrush turbo and it sounds similar to the magna flow but a little louder and a 1/3 the price of the rest.

I went with the Summit Racing version of the 40 series, and I love it. It's been on my truck for a few months now so it's nice and broken in. It's very loud, and a bit drone-y, but I like the drone. It's on the cusp of being too aggressive for a V6, so some would say it's ricey, but I disagree.

Relocated all rear lines and harness 3" lift, bilstein 5100 shocks all around 14" stroke rear shocks. Limit straps. Swaybar removed, grey wire mod., electric fan, 9000k winch. Fabbed bumper, rear disk brakes in the works lots more in the making.
I've got the 40 single in dual out. Love it. Low rumble at idle and 3k+ it smooths out pretty calm and mono tone. Can't stand the Chevy guys who goose it and it sounds like 75 double barrel shot guns going off in sync. Blah. 01 Tacoma 3.4 btw
