just get a muffler, no need for the whole kit. I bought my 50 series and had it installed for 150

The reason i was asking the differnece in preformance is im also buying a K&N CAI and was wondering if the kit itself would help with airflow out since im increasing airflow in.

Don't waste your money on the K&N CAI, just throw in an AFE Pro Dry-S drop in filter.

Depends on what you're getting it for.

I have the American Thunder kit with dual exits (cat-back) & 50series muffler.

I didn't buy it for performance. I bought it for the sound and I thought I'd get slightly better gas mileage with it. I also have an AFE drop-in filter.
No improvements in gas mileage increase.
