    Hey guys,

I just installed a Flowmaster Super 44 Muffler with an AF Dynamic Cold Air Intake. I know all you haters will say it sounds like crap but I like it so I don't care. I had a local shop weld on the muffler for $200 installed. I didn't care about Chrome tips or anything like that because it just gets dirty. I wasn't completely sold on the sound at first, then I installed the Cold air intake to get rid of the stock resonator. Now it sounds much better. It's still pretty quiet under normal driving but sounds good under acceleration. Here's a video to hear it.

What’s your fuel mileage like did it go up or down any noticeable power gains I’m thinking of going a similar route with the intake The exhaust I’m going to go with the mbrp cat back 3in exhaust

Difficult to say. I’ve seen it better when I drive like a grandma. However in all reality I’m usually hard on the gas because I like the sound so really it goes down.

You will change sound only and get no measurable power gains

This is what i just order - AF Dynamic CAI and MBRP S5338P catback - for my 2018. should get it delivered by 2/22. I will post an update once it has been installed.
i drive like a grandma. My commute to work is 5 miles one way. I guess i am looking for a growling sound. Is the combination very loud in the cab with windows up? any drone at higher speeds?

It sounds good. If you wanna go nuts you can get a kit that converts your fake scoop into a real scoop which routs and dumps more air onto the intake.

yeah, I said this setup sounded great over the internet too. Then I had one installed. The drone @1200-1300 rpm (where it likes to cruise) in an access cab would make your teeth hurt. 4 days later I had them cut it out and weld in a magnaflow. 100% better.

From dealing with Vettes, I found that 99% of the so called cold air systems are nothing but an expensive filter. Unless the inlet has been directed outside the engine department and getting nothing but ambient air......you do not have a cold air system.

I have the same AF intake along with a TRD cat back exhaust (B-day gift from wife). Not as loud as yours, but sounds really nice. No drone whatsoever. I don't know about HP increase, but I do feel like the throttle response improved some.
