flowmaster

was not the way to go sounds like a tin can does anyone know of a good muffler that sounds good on there 4 banger

 

hey jardine from urdusa.com makes good catbacks. its what ive got. sounds deep and throaty. also if your wanting something not so loud. you might try a gibson catback. ive heard good things from gibson owners

 

what is a catback i have a header and a straight pipe leading to my muffler thats all i dont want to invest money into a caatalytic converter because i dont need it

 

its just another different type of exaust that reduces back pressure from the engine componets. the jardine in my case, bolts on after the catalytic converter. thats if you had one. yeah it should work. might want to double check with someone to make sure it will work though

 

i think i just need a different muffler a catback is like 300 buck and i dont need anything it offers except the muffler

 

yeah i forgot to mention that option. yeah it would work just as well. same basic thing except way less money. yeah definitly go for it.

 

got any iDEAS i put a flowmaster 40 on it but i dont like the sound sounds like a tin can

 

my suggestion would be to just shop it. theres all kinds out there. find the one you think you might want. then check youtube and see if anybody posted a sound clip about it

 

i dont buy the you tube any more i heard a taco with the flowmaster and loved it thats why i bought it but now i dont know

 

well thats what i did for my jardine. i guess what works for some doesnt work for others.
