Can anyone tell me or point me in the right direction to find the recommended fluid types and capacities for the manual transmission and rear differential on a 1995 base 2wd?

Yes super super important about the fill plugs. If you drain your fluid and then can't get the fill plug out to put new fluid in, you're pretty screwed until you can find a way to get it out.

That's what we're here for haha. No problem.
And for the Royal purple, it's good but not necessary at the miles you most likely have

Yeah, you can if you want. I have 260k on mine with no problems ever. So pretty much whatever you put in these things within spec will last forever
