I went to get an oil change and the dude at the place told me my transmission fluid on my 2002 2WD PreRunner was very very bad. He showed me however I don't know what the transmission oil is suppose to look like. It has 112K+ miles on it and I've only had it since 108K (May 2010).

I was told I need to find someone who can completely flush x amount of old oil out and fill it back up with the same amount of oil rather than drain it at home and leave all the old crap sitting in the lines to mix in with the new stuff.

Anyone have any feedback on this and or know what I should look for. I don't know if my transmission oil needs to be flushed since the automatic transmission feels fine but he could be right.

    Any thoughts and or suggestions?
