Curious if anyone can offer advice on a wheel/tire combo.

    2012 DCSB TRD OR
I'm lifted minimally with 5100s at 1.75 up front and AAL in rear. I would like to run 275-70-17 BFG KO2 on the FN FX Pro wheel (17x8 4.5mm BS, 0 mm offset).
Can I fit this in my current set-up? Any trimming? Not interested in any wheel spacers either.

Thanks very much for any input you might have.

I did but couldn't find a confirmation of the 2nd gen. 3rd gen says no problem, but not sure if there's enough difference from 2nd to 3rd to matter?? I've tried to call the vendor but no answer just yet. Found a screw in the shoulder of one of my tires this morning so I'm kind of in a hurry to make a decision.

There's a good chance I overlooked it too though! I'll go back through it. thanks.

Did you really look through that thread? The second post has pictures of two different 2nd gens with those wheels. So not sure how you missed that?

And they're both running way more lift than I am....

And different tire size. So literally no relevance to my question.

But hey thanks for the response.

The first one is probably a 2.5in lift and he has a 285 in there, second one doesn't look lifted much and still has 285 so that's MORE tire than you want. How does this not prove that you can fit a smaller tire?

Probably? Sorry but really not looking to shell at $2k on probably. Hence, I asked a question to my fellow Tacoma enthusiasts in hopes I might get someone that says " hey I have xxx set-up and mine are fine with no rubbing". But so far I've only got responses from you and you're running 265-70-17 so really your not the fish I'm trying to catch yet you can't spit out my hook.

See I'm looking for a specific, real life, validated response from someone that's either purchased, seen, or perhaps know someone that's ran a 275-70-17 on a specific wheel spec. Until I get that reply or find enough Intel on an external site I intend to continue to solicit input. Heck I might even bump this thread now and then. You think you can allow that?

Haha your an angry elf, honestly I could give two shits what you buy or don't buy. Try dropping the attitude and you'll PROBABLY get more responses. Or you could contact the manufacturer and see if they have any insight, but that seems too complicated for your small mind.

Wow man, sorry my post has disrupted your otherwise pleasant evening. Really I don't have an attitude I really was trying to make a point that if you don't care or you don't have any relevant input then maybe don't be condescending by asking me if I "really" read the thread. I have an 8 year old I wouldn't talk down to like that.

Hard to know the tone of a post on the internet. No I was not talking down to you, I was saying in a joking way like the previous poster also mentioned that thread is your best bet. I would focus on the wheel so much but just the specs, look for other wheels with those specs and I'm sure someone has tried 275s. Your most likely going to have to cut some plastic and maybe do the CMC, but I wouldn't know I don't run that setup.
