One of the fobs supplied with my remote start system stopped beeping a couple of weeks ago. Did inadvertently set it to silent, or something?

    Hi there!

You'll get a faster response by reach out to us directly for future reference, however, some notes to assist:

Does the fob still do what it needs to, but only confirms to you in LED blinks? Any LED blinks, just no audible confirmation?

While standing in the same spot, does the other fob respond with beeping sounds? Depending on battery strength of the battery inside, it can be saving it's battery life by disabling the sound confirmation to stretch the battery life out, or what's left of it. Try swapping batteries with the other fob if the other fob responds how you expected it, from the SAME position the other one in question hasn't been. See if the problem follows the battery, at which time gives you your answer.

It is possible that the remote control was able to communicate with the remote-starter and that action was performed successfully, but the remote-starter was unable to send its response back to the remote control. Some factors such as radio interference may interfere with the communication between the remote control and the remote-starter.

Are you sure the fob hasn't been disabled inadvertently?

The other fob does make a sound when I start the car. I'll check the battery. Thanks!!!!

We saw that you had asked:

We're not sure where the message is anymore but without the antenna it won't work. You need the fobs AND the antenna. If you need to purchase just the antenna, please email sales@n2designsinc.com
