As for the verbiage, I’ll clean some things up to hopefully avoid confusion moving forward. This is not a fog light ANYTIME mod. It was always called that in the past in this community, and I admittedly just grabbed onto that nomenclature! What this is specifically is a module that allows for the fog lights to be on with the high beams. It does not modify any other fog light functions whatsoever. Apologies if it was presented as such.

Stalk Positions -
DRL Off - Fogs will not work
Auto - Fogs will not work unless low beams are on
Parking Lights - Fogs can be toggled
Low Beam - Fog Lights can be toggled

When high beams are triggered, fogs will ALSO be on!

Here, let me over simplify this

If you have your fog lights on, by default your fog lights will shut off when you switch to high beams. This mod makes them stay on when you switch to high beams.

Literally nothing else changes.

As of right now I’ve put a stop shimpment on those that have OEM LEDs. However, they can still be ordered and we should have some solid feedback in just the next few days!

Sorry if this was addressed already, but what's the issue with oem led headlights/fogs with this mod?

I've got OEM led headlight conversion with ss3 max fogs on my 2017 trd or.

Sweet!

Just keep working it back and forth! Sometimes a big pair of pliers will help. You won’t break it as long as you don’t try to force it in one direction all at once.

Original full LED. I was your other tester!
I will check the flash function tonight and report back but seems all good

Finally installed, I had to use a plier to remove the relays. I broke 1 tap on the fuse cover.

thanks. would never have looked there. install was easy as others as said. works on my '23 with factory LED headlights.

I have a brand new 2023 TRD Sport with OEM LED headlights and fog lights.

Should I hold off before I order?

You can use your own discretion on that one. @Watkinseli91 is reporting that we’re all good. Just waiting on my other OEM LED tester to report. If he comes back with good news we will begin shipping all of them out! If you order now you can secure your place in line as we’re waiting on the next production run anyway. If we determine that OEM LED won’t work and we can’t find another solution via troubleshooting on our own of course I’ll refund ya!

Also, anyone who ordered early, got an email from me, and are OEM LED have no fear. I held back your units. Once we get a thumbsup on shipping out those units I’ll have one for you right away.

Took mine out again last night and no issues. Flashed my lights from low and the fogs and high beams all lit up!

We've been working recently on a pnp module that allows for 3rd Gen Tacomas to be able to run fog lights with all of your normal functions, but now also with your high beams! It's a fully PNP module that you can install in about 5 minutes, and uninstall just as quickly if you don't want your high beams and fogs on at the same time. No fluff, no relays, no splicing.

I know, I know. There is absolutely a discussion to be had surrounding the use of fog lights with high beams - their respective purposes, the interaction of strong foreground light on the eyes, etc. That said, there are many people who have swapped their OEM fog lights with offroad lights or have swapped to new bumpers and what not!

The issue that a customer was experiencing was that he was not able to flash his highs by pulling back on the stalk, and the fogs weren’t working in some of the other scenarios in which they normally would. It’s sounding like this MAY be an isolated incident which is awesome news. Bringing the unit in question back in house to test it.
