I think this might be a silly question but I could not find any post that says if the fog light switch still worked after this mod? Does it?

I did this same exact mod 2 months ago and occasionally, the fogs will not work. Meaning, hitting the switch and getting nothing. Next time out, it works again. Anyone one experiencing this? It's an ongoing intermitten issue.

This mod is awesome!! Just did it and now I don't have to worry about not having or remembering to turn the lights on while driving winding, tree covered, two-lane roads!

This site is the best! My truck would be like a P.O.S. Ford if it weren't for all you guys! LOL

Need a strange favor- a pic of the OEM fog light button pins and the socket it plugs into the wiring harness in the dash please.

I have a set of OEM Tacoma fogs, and aftermarket harness designed as an OEM replacement for a camry. BUT- after a lot of trouble finding an OEM fog button for the dash, (one missing shipment, one just wrong) I'm thinking of just buying one new to save further trouble. I just need to know if the OEM Tacoma button is going to fit in my Camry harness. If so... I'm ready to install and will just buy the new button.

Can anybody pop out their fog button and take a pic of the of the contacts/pins end of the button with the socket to show pins and fit?

    Thanks in advance...

The right up was very helpful. Although my lack of being mechanically/electrically inclined held me back.. Am i the only one that took 45 minutes to do this? lol... Oh that's actually not funny.. :-(

One thing I am looking forward to is i have HID's in my headlights and fogs. Because I don't have projectors, I feel terrible when pulling up behind cars and stoplights and lighting up their whole cabin. Now I can drive around with just the fogs in those needed times when I don't want to blind someone.

I did not see a green wire (described as light green on another thread) on any of the 3 wire harnesses. I did see a dark green, with a stripe. Any idea/suggestions would be appreciated.
