Okay thanks. Thinking of replacing with Spyder oem smoked fog lamps. What about aiming? Should eye mark the fence area with tape on the stock lights before removal? How they adjust for aiming?

Should I mark the spots on fence when I drive truck up close and turn on headlight fog lights before removal?
There is some knob of knob on
back of fog lights I guess it is some sort of adjustment but not sure how you adjust them.

I didn't have to do any of that at all. it should be all plug in and play.

Did you do mod to have the fogs come on anytime when ignition turned on? I may want to do this without having to have the headlights on. I think you have to connect a wire from fog relay to some hot relay? What gauge wire and don't want to pop fuses or blow out my lights?

I haven't done any mods at all, I just replaced the housing. I have been thinking of doing that as well, still reading up on that mod.

My fog lamps bulbs OPT7s can be used as day running lamps too. That is why I want the fog lamps independent from the headlights.

I have seen several ways it can be done, I just haven't decided which way I want to do it yet.

What is the threaded screw knob on back of fog lamp?
Is that to tighten or adjust fog light aim?

its to tighten the light the light. to my understanding, you should not have to do any aiming at all.

Okay, thanks again. Once I get them replaced will share my thread under fog lamp replacement. Still searching for answer on question on how to power fog lamps with having ignition switch on without headlights on. May check with Toyota service on this or may just post a fog light forum question to ya'll. :)
