probably posted somewhere but I can’t find it for the life of me. My fog and 115 display light are out. Can anyone lend me a hand with a bulb replacement. I can find it in the dark with muscle memory after 9 years but I’d appreciate being able to fix it.

Unfortunately the bulb can only be replaced by getting a new switch unless you solder in an led in its place

I'm 80% sure it's a NEO5 twist bulb. There is definitely confirmation on here somewhere. I added a blue one to my switch and it works fine.
Can be found on Amazon or superbrightleds.com

I think it's the 03 twist. I replaced mine (burned out) along with my locker control after I got over working then out of the dash it was an easy replacement. I did them in led.

My fog light switch light hasn’t worked since I bought the truck new. I didn’t know it had a light. Always seem strange to me. Now I know and will look into resolving that problem.

I don't remember this ever been lit in my 2015. I'll have to check if it is covered under warranty. I'm mechanically challenged.

Nope, there’s countless threads about people not knowing they were supposed to light up. My 2006 did not

All 05-15 fog light switches should light up. The bulbs in the switch are replaceable. Accessing the bulb is easy. A lot of threads I read recommend taking trim pieces off to get the switch popped out. That is unnecessary. Just gently pry the switch out with something thin and rigid(butter knife, small screwdriver, feeler gauges, etc) I just replaced mine on my 2012. Super easy and cheap. Oem bulb assembly cost me 4 bucks from the dealer. Only problem was I couldn’t find the bulb with the green silicone cover. Only the 05-11 ones that have the amber color silicone. I just swapped the covers and boom! Done.

My next project. I just thought the switch didn't have a bulb. I thought I read that it didn't have a bulb, but now I will get into it.

Really? Mines a 2015 and it's never lit up. They must have changed it 2012-2015

It illuminates but doesn't change for on/off. Sorry, I wasn't thinking about it just being illumniated.

Wonder why they didn’t make it indicate on/off?
