Going to be wiring in my foglights soon, does anyone know if I run the power wire from a source that's hot when the ignition on instead of directly to the battery will work? My goal is to have a toggle switch that's functional but that will turn off with the ignition so I don't drain my battery if I leave them on.

fuse tap into a circuit that turns off with your ignition.
