I'm picking up my replacement Tacoma later today and am shopping new tonneau covers. Previously had a Roll and Lock, which was very nice and expensive, but I'm thinking about the Fold-A-cover G4 Elite this round. My only concern is with the lock. How secure is that Footman's Loop?

It looks like a cheap after thought, which could easily be pried open.

Only problem with that you have to open cover to open tailgate. Should be good enough .I went with electric pop and lock. Easier to just tail gate open and throw things in. Pop and lock worth it to me but footman loop one should work fine.
Like the fold a cover a lot.bed can be used like a trunk.

I had a roll and lock 5+ years on my wrecked Tacoma and am used to opening the top first. I'm completely ok with that just so long as the entry is disabled when locked. Guess we'll see, cause I placed my order last night.

I've had my G4 elite since February. Love it. Lock works very well.

    +1 on Fold-a-Cover with Pop n lock.

Fold-A-Cover was the best mod investment i've ever made. Both sides open and have locks... I skipped the FAC tailgate attackment lock and went with a pop and lock coded to my key fob.

Yes, they typically have a TacomaWorld Discount code too. It may be only $25, but hey... its something. I don't have the 2015 code; call them and ask for it.

I also did the Fold-a-cover with he Pop & Lock instead of the locking loop they had. Mostly because I just bought the truck and installed the cover the first day I had the truck and didn't want to make any holes yet. Had the cover for 6 or so weeks now and works great for my needs.

I paid an authorized dealer to install it for me for $110. they did a great job. Install looked tedious and involved and I didn't have time fo dat.
