    Of course after I do all that I looked at the bottom of the recipe and it says the meat tastes best if you serve the day after it is cooked..... shouldve known. I hope to have some leftovers for the guys at work tomorrow.

    Well here is the brisket cooked. It came out really good. We had a blast!!!!

    Here it is again, as you can see the rub made quite a bark. It was a little spicy with the bbq sauce. I scraped some of it off for the kids.

    I'm not sure the sweet would cut the heat any, but I definitely like the sweet/hot combination much better than just hot.

    add a can of beans... add some water.. add some sugar/honey..and add some tomatoes

    i hear honey works well.. you cant taste the sweet but it takes off the heat a little.
