    Tonight's menu consists of some hearty beef soup with slow braised leeks over pappardelle with crispy porcini pongratto

    Here is the 2nd steak that didnt make it into the soup

    Here is a serious pot of hearty beef soup with egg noodles.

    The soup is hot enough to let simmer with the lid on for a couple of hours making that steak which was chopped get nice and tender. I will take some pics of the leeks later......... I hope that they are good.
