No doubt with the lockers. I just wanna see head to head comparisons like in the video with those goofy lookn Prados or Priuses or WTF ever they were.

    A few bolts are different.
I just like to see everyones jaw drop when I go wheeling with a DCLB. Its not so much new for the Tacoma crowd, but to the others outside our world, I get a bunch of "WTF" looks.

I like it, ultimately it makes me more aware of being a better driver on the trail.

It is interesting on wheeling trips to see how different length wheelbases have advantages in different situations.

You should probably go trade your truck in Jamie, and get an OR. Your truck is probably terrible.

If a truck doesn't have A-TRAC, then of course you would add lockers... duh! You don't (or can't) add A-TRAC. Rotation sensors, hydraulic brake booster, CPU all built into the 4WD OFF ROAD TACOMA... not added on!

The point of my posts is NOT comparing A-TRAC to front lockers, but to let people know it is possible to buy a new truck that doesn't need front lockers added to go to those special places. Just to inform how well A-TRAC works or what it is. Okay?

probably right. i had an 07 sport prerunner w/ no intentions of going offroad....then i did and bought the 09 sport 4x4. but i had absolutely NO idea of what i was getting into or missing out on. i'm so glad that someone on here could show me the err of my ways...and that the hood scoop is so massive that no one can see in front of the vehicle when it touches dirt. heaven forbid that if i were to hit something that, i didnt see before it made it's way behing the scoop, that i should be held personally accountable for my own stupidity and not watching what i was doing to begin with...

i'm just a dumb, misinformed, non-knowledgeable, dealer swindled sport owner....so what do i know?

You obviously know nothing Jamie, I can't believe you have driven off a cliff or something with that huge honkin distraction on your hood.

you may as well enter the KOH so the other rigs have a chance. if you were to enter the baja 1000, there's be no competetion since the stock OR is baja proven already.

You probably don't need to add anything, with the stock tires and atrac, you gonna kill everyone.
