    well as an update... they got the swelling to go down, however its too late. they did a mri to check for brain damage, and the damage to his brain stem is massive which is why all he could do was get his heart to beat. the doctors said that this is not something he will wake up from and is not able to heal. so from what i understand, sometime tomorrow they are going to take levi off of the breathing machine.
    i was told that it was some sort of bacterial infection that caused this, my buddy said they even found it in his spinal fluid.
    from what i was told my buddy is going to have levi's liver donated (the doctors say it is in good health) to another baby that is in serious need of one to survive. its such a tragic situation, but i'm proud of my friend for doing something so generous in a time like this.

    so sorry to hear this. What a courageous act they are taking allowing Levi to saver another child.

    Thoughts and prayers continue for Levi and all the friends and family around him as well as you too brother.
