If you can live with the alignment and hazing this seems like a really good price. The projectors alone are $205 on sale plus shipping through TRS. OP make sure to post pics of the LS460s when you get them

    Thanks guys!

I'm a perfectionist lol so those minor flaws ended up getting to me. And I've got the LS460R's installed already. Photobucket was taking foreeeeeeever so I'll get pics up when I regain my patience again.

So the projectors need to be spun 180? Do they need to be cut out to do so?

Not a full 180°, just a couple-ish degrees. If you can see the output shot against the wall, the cutoff flares up a bit as it pans out. It's not enough to where I blind oncoming drivers and I've never gotten flashed. As far as correcting it, I couldn't answer that to save my life.

This or you can use it as a spare while you work on your personal set!

Not 180 but a few degrees. You will need to open the headlights, cut some jb weld, re-align the projects, jb weld it again, and re-seal your headlights. Sounds like a lot but it's not bad!

    Actually OP:

If the beginning few inches of the cutoff to the left and right of the step are "level" then they do not need to be rotated. The reason they flare up at the ends is because of the shield

I understand why you got rid of them. The problems I had with my cutoff drove me nuts so I am trading a guy mine for his OEM so I can redo it, have the paint done professionally and have it look good and upgrade to FX-Rs at the same time. I figured it works well for both of us that way since he can live with it's imperfections. Hey A7xschecter6661, is it common that the shield is messed up causing it to flare upward and, if my new set does that prior to install, how do I fix it before i install it?

Thank you all for your input! A7, I'll try to post another pic of the output for you to analyze tomorrow if it's indeed the shield. Much appreciate your advice!

It wasn't just the cutoff and haze that made me want to get a better set, but I kinda got over the black.

Sorry, I failed to mention that the only bulbs the headlights come with are the Morimoto 5000K's. No DTRL's or Parking Lights (sold separately lol).

They are boxed up with the Tempurpedic memory foam that came with Andrew's LS460R set. Ready to go!

Complete headlights right? Other than bulbs. If so, I will be next in line if others don't pick it up. Paypal ready.

Surprised it took as long as it did for a set of working retrofits shipped. If they had been 2005-2011 I'd have taken them instantly. So many 2012+ retrofits for sale and hardly ever any 2005-2011. *sad face*
