The dip has begun.
13° and will continue to fall till Sunday.
Estimate is -17° without windchill. We are going to have windchills around -35°.
Not as cold as some of you but still a bit nippley.
They are already canceling outside events.
Grandson has early release today so will head over to pick him up.
Have fun today.
Prep for cold if necessary…

good morning everyone
damn did it get cold over the night i'm at -4 with out the wind chill

 

We started out at -11 at my house this morning. Currently -3, but not too bad. Stay warm and drink lots of hot chocolate

Morning fellow popsicles.
Pulled the plug on the Garage Refrigerator yesterday.
Thought I might be able to keep it going but why push it.
Need to bring in the soda.
Going to get the salamander hooked up for a vehicle preheat in case we need it this weekend.
Don’t plan on doing much.
Might grind the weights out of some lures.
Be safe people of the NE. This coming cold is nothing to sneeze at.
Be smart.

Chickens are getting the plug-in radiant heater for the next couple of nights. The thermometer in the coop is saying its about 20° in there right now, holds their body heat pretty well but not taking any chances.
Survival kit prepped in the truck, battery jump pack charged, oil field winter crap packed in case of call-out.
Dont yall be dying out there..

Apparently my wife decided to surprise me with something this weekend. Just found out we've got first class seats on a 5am flight on Saturday morning to somewhere. She won't tell me where or what, but I'll be missing this cold snap! Stay safe and warm everyone, and thanks to my pops for minding my house and the dog when it's -30
