I just got my alarm from ordering online and I also order the bypass module which is xk05. I'm having a buddy of mine installing it for cheap as he has installed few other cars before. But the thing he told me was the bypass module that I ordered online was not programmed for the Tacoma and he doesn't have the program to do it. So how did those that self installed with the XK05 installed it without programming it for our trucks?

There is one that you can get programmed by shops to work with your vehicle.
