so after doing some research it looks like the abs/speed sensor for the rear axle on a stock 2nd gen Tacoma runs off a magnet on the wheel bearing, and not a tone ring. So this is my problem, I just bought a 9” for my truck, but there seems to be no easy way for me to hook up my wheel speed sensor, so when I go to install it I’m gunna be without a spedo. I’ve seen people plug it the speed sensor into their transfer case but my truck is a 2wd automatic, does anyone have any recommendations or ideas? I thought of maybe splicing it into the front abs wire, but when I unplugged the front and drove down the street my spedo still worked so I’m guessing that’s not an option. Any help appreciated.
Also I posted this in technical chat but kinda thought it would be better here since it looks like there is a lot of axle knowledge here.

Some have tapped into the front left wheel speed sensor, use that signal for the right rear sensor. Should get you your speedometer working. The major thing with this, if you have abs, You need to bypass it. @Airdog has done this.
