Yep, I'm a Ford Truck owner. Owned a Toyota truck back in 85. Going to buy my son a Tacoma for college graduation so thought I would get a few ideas here about the different models. See you in the non-intro threads.

Sh*t! I wish my parents bought me a taco when I graduated or any vehicle for that matter or helped pay for college. They certainly could have afforded it, something about teaching me the value of hardwork and money, earning it for yourself, how they both did putting themselves through college and setuping up a successful medical billing practice.

Nice choice for your son. Good luck with your shopping.

    neglect, mostly.
how would that work in the OP's case though? would he have to spend thousands of dollars in mods on his sons tacoma, tear it up, buy his son a ford and then become a mod? . . or could his son spend the money, tear up the tacoma, then he gives his son the ford and then he'll become a mod? . . or would the son actually become the mod?!! :notsure: :goingcrazy:

    Funny guys here. :)
Daughter will have to buy own car (she doesn't value a hard-earned dollar).
Son gets the car/truck because he does have all the right values.
Love my Ford F150, even if it makes me moderator potential around here, but also loved my Toyota truck (only sold it because it didn't have a legal space for the kids). It saw many baja camping/surfing trips in it's time with us.
Thanks for the welcome. I've posted a question in the 2nd Gen area, but it's pending moderator approval for now. See you over there.
