Don't know if there are many fans here as this is a truck forum but I know there are some...

I made several trips up to Indy to see the Formula 1 race and I was at the last U.S. race when all the cars running Michelin refused to race because of tire issues. I am glad to see that they are coming back to the U.S. and on top of that they are coming to Texas. No more 13 hour drive to see the race for me. I can't wait.

I was very excited until I found out it a Tilke designed track. Get ready for another snooze fest.

I'm a huge F1 fan, but with most things involving the U.S. and F1, I'll believe it when I see it. Having said that, I am encouraged from what I've heard about the progress in Austin, I just can't believe they can build an F1 circuit from the ground up and have it ready in 2 years. I hope I'm wrong. Good luck Austin!

I agree most of his tracks suck, but the track in Istanbul that they raced at this weekend is pretty good. That Tilke track is by far his best design IMO. Turn 8 is wicked.

I agree. Although I was hoping that it would be a street circuit. ;)
