Finally got a Thanos win last night. 7 kill game with a Victory Royale.

He's harder to control than videos would lead you to believe.

Just spam jump and once you’re at the full height of the jump, ground pound toward enemies and spam the punch button. It only takes ~2 hits before enemies die. If there’s no enemies, do the same thing I said to do but ground pound into buildings. You end up destroying every part of the building that’s in the path of the ground pound. I’ve gotten a few kills just by pounding through buildings in tilted towers.

Haven't laughed as hard as I did last night pushing around shopping carts in fortnite.

Idc if people call the game cartoonish, childish, or stupid...it's funny as hell lol.

so apparently Epic Games made the game engine that PUBG runs on? I read that somewhere but don't know the truth to it.

Honestly, any company so butthurt to just want to sue another one because they aren't having the same success (let's face it, we know that's the reason) is just childish.

I've enjoyed the few games I've played on H1Z1 so I'll probably just avoid PUBG entirely since they seem to be run by jealous kiddos.

Back when fortnite was just picking up, I went as far as to buy an xbox JUST to play pubG since there was so much hype. Needless to say, I only played it a few times because for some reason I got nauseous real quick playing it, and most of my buddies play fortnite.

Fortnite definitely has the smoothest running gameplay in my opinion. H1Z1 has choppy movement, can't really speak to pubg other than what I've seen on videos and console looks choppy as well

Those are exactly my thoughts too. Haven’t played H1Z1, but from the videos I’ve seen, they look very similar. The game play definitely isn’t as smooth as fortnite.

I also feel like the design of Fortnite allows for endless possibilities. Talking to some buddies while playing last night I mentioned something about the shopping carts. Like, H1Z1 and PubG can't add something like that but for fortnite it works. There just seems to be more things Fortnite can do, and the others are limited to like maybe new maps or clothes...but being "realistic" you're stuck with your weapons and gameplay styles.

Epic makes the Unreal engine which both Pub G and Fortnite run on.
I get that they are similar in that 3rd person shooter where the last person alive wins, but considering that one has building and the other has vehicles, game play is extremely different.

If anything, Pub G copies H1Z1 which originally came out 2 years prior.

Pub G is just mad that kids who take their parents credit cards are drawn to the cartoony nature of Fortnite.

ah ok that's it, the Unreal engine, I remember now.

but yes, it does seem to be just a "jealousy" type thing of just not having the same success, it's as childish as the cartoony nature of Fortnite :rofl:

I mean really, Epic has been around for almost 30 years an have made all the Unreal Tournament games that have had to compete with Valve (Counter strike, team fortress) Activision (CoD) and EA (Battlefield.) Those franchises are all similar but find a way to cohabitate.

This is just an attempt at a cash grab and looks horrible on Pub Gs part.

The last company that tried to sue Epic over engine nonsense lost and got driven to bankruptcy over it (Too Human). Epic turned around and found a way that the game was violating the Unreal ToS a they had to either migrate to another engine (difficult and super expensive), or pull all the copies of their game from all marketplaces.

    From the wiki:

On July 19, 2007, Silicon Knights sued Epic Games due to "breach of contract", including "inadequacies" of Epic's support, service, and cooperation with Silicon Knights concerning Unreal Engine 3. Among claims, Silicon Knights accused Epic of missing the deadline to provide a fully functional version of their engine.[21][22] In August 2007, Epic Games counter-sued Silicon Knights for copyright infringement, breach of contract and misappropriation of trade secrets.[23] On May 30, 2012, Epic Games prevailed in the lawsuit and won its counter-suit for $4.45 million.[24] As a result, Silicon Knights was forced to recall and destroy all unsold copies of their Unreal Engine games.[25]

It's obviously a childish play by Bluehole to try to get money or damage Fortnite, but the precedent is there for this to royally backfire on them
