Nice! You’ll have me very tempted if it came in a flatbed version

If they end up building a flat bed model for the mid size trucks I’ll surely be trading up. They already build one for the full size trucks called the HBE

I am curious as to why?
What advantages do you see over the 4WC?
I am saving for one, 5 years out lol. Looking at all options but I will upgrading from RTT in the future.

No kidding! We where not expecting that much snow. It was our first time out in the snow with the Project M. Thankfully there was a 8’ broken branch on the ground. I was able to knock a fair amount of snow off before dropping the roof. I have a SnoJoe roof rake on order that I will modify to work with the flat roof for next time.

First time I dropped the roof on our Eagle it scared the hell out of me and I was somewhat expecting it. I carried one of these folding RV Ladders after that with a sno-rake. The ladder folds into a 3.5" square and is 6' tall, pretty handy.

That’s pretty slick. Could mount it to the ski rack on top. Just got to remember to take it down before lifting the roof if it is going to snow.

Very light and handy, I kept it behind the roll over couch.

Unfortunately I don't and I sold it with the Eagle. If you're familiar with the FWC it fit no problem behind the rollover couch in between the window. The 3.5" square x 6' long dimension is pretty much dead on.

I’ll list five advantages over FWC.

•composite construction with exoskeleton aluminum extrusions make it very light and extremely well insulated

•they are RVIA certified meaning you can get an RV loan for them unlike FWC. 10 year loan can be obtained.

•light weight. (Way lighter than FWC

    •zero wood construction

•the soft walls come standard with R4 insulation value

l very much like the lighter weight and the r4 soft walls, but it looks like the bed(s) are small and you sleep sideways?? If so I’m out cause I’m 6’ 5”

I think the 4wc only uses wood in their cabinets, not in the camper itself

The bed slides just like the FWC, you can sleep north south.

This is how the bed is on the camp M prototype.

The bed is 74” wide so if one is under 6’ tall, sleeping East - West is no problem.

Now you’re cookin’!! I’ve signed up for their newsletter. Was hoping to chat with them about being a testbed for an M flatbed. Figured an around the world trip might bring some traffic.

These definitely look nice, and I could be interested in a flatbed in the future once they have worked out all the kinks. The insulation would be a big plus for my use. I agree with a couple of the advantages (no wood and insulation) but I am not sure about the others. They list the HBE with a dry weight of 1550lbs, where as a similarly configured FWC Hawk flatbed is around 1400lbs, which is pretty consistent with my Fleet flatbed. I am not interested in financing either of these, but plenty of folks do finance FWCs so I am not sure there is any difference there.

I will verify weight but I believe the HBE has a dry weight of 1200 lbs.
