Thanks … post #136, from OP:

“Water and dust getting inside are the two main annoyances that need mitigation with the Project M. The dust issues is so bad, even YouTubers who have borrowed the FWC demo units have complained about it.”

I sold it, but wouldn’t hesitate to buy one again. Regearing was a huge help, as was a better suspension. It wasn’t the fastest, but could cruise the highway, off-road, and really go anywhere with such a short wheelbase.

There was a guy on Wander the West that as soon as the Project M was released said, "they should have called it Project D for DUST".

Nice looking ATC! Definitely don’t know much about this company. But looks similar to FWC with low profile roof. Wonder how they compare? Wonder if their dry weights are similar to FWC?

From what I understand the owners were originally FWC employees that split off on their own.

There's an ATC sub forum on Wander The West:

If I were in the market for this type of pop-up and ATC is still making the slimmer width camper they would be my primary contender. IMO FWC really messed up when they started only making the wider campers and no longer the Finch/Eagle width.

Nice pictures. How wide is your ATC? From pictures it doesn’t look much wider than your Tacoma.

I’m thinking of getting a FWC or an ATC and deciding factor may come down to ATC is willing to make theirs narrower than the FWC model.

ATC will build what you want as my Bobcat is about 5-6" narrower and 3" shorter... it'll cost extra tho but definitely what I wanted!

Visit them in Sac and ask... They're very helpful

I also like the narrower profile of ATC.

I have rebuilt a few old FWCs and if I was in the market for a new camper it would be ATC all the way. They also repair and supply parts for the older FWCs. Stuff like new vinyl, 1 piece roofs, lift panels, etc.

I had an Eagle on my Tacoma just for the width of the camper being inside the mirrors.

I currently have a 2012 Granby on my 2019 Tundra DCLB.

I have a 1999 Hawk on my 2019 Tundra DC. Bet that Granby feels like a palace inside, especially coming from a Eagle.
