Hey guys... I have a 2021 TRD Off Road that will be used mostly as a daily driver and a beach truck. I don’t do off road trails or any “overlanding,” but in the short term the truck will be blasting down dirt roads and highways in Texas and in the long term, handling dirt trails to beaches in Hawaii. To be frank, I don’t need a lift at all as ground clearance or tires any bigger than I have (265/75/16) aren’t necessary.

That all being said, I like the idea of experimenting with ride quality and handling characteristics... and I love the idea of doing this with Fox DSCs for their adjustability.

Would it make any sense at all to do what I am thinking of doing? I’d start by spending $1300 or so on 2.5 FOX DSC units on the rear. After I got over that expenditure, I would move on to doing the front with matching 2.5 units and maybe exploring larger sway bars.

End game being a truck that rides and handles better on the street, but is still very capable off road when I need it to be.

    Any of this make sense?
