For my lift (2"), I did not get extended brake likes. I haven't researched a whole lot into that but I think it's all going to depend on how much lift you're going for. There's probably some amount of lift at which above that, you need extended brake lines. I don't know if that's 3" but you could probably find out from someone on here or just ask the guys at headstrong. They're really helpful. I bought all my stuff from them.

Jumpin in here... I've got the same 2.5 extended travel coilovers. I've got about 2 inches of preload on the threads and ideally need another inch to inch and a half of lift. Debating just cranking em down another inch or so, or ordering 14 inch 600lb springs, an inch longer than stock but same spring rate. Pros and cons vs each?

Definitely getting the longer springs will be better because you won't have to preload them as much as with the stock Fox ones. That being said, you could probably still get away with cranking them down more but ride quality will likely suffer. You can always try cranking them down and see how it feels. How much lift are you trying to get?

I feel like I got an inch, maybe an inch and a half out of the box with the coilovers. My Dakar leaf pack gave me about 2.5-3 inches of lift in the rear and I want to get as close to level as I can

What about the ride quality? Did it get better on street or worse? Was it worth the 3k investment?

If you're talkin to me, I paid about $1600~ for my Fox Front/Rears. Ride quality is definitely improved, especially in the front. There's a couple dips on my way home and the nose would always dive into the dip and bounce up, now with the Fox's the front dips slightly but you can barely feel it, very cush.

Im looking for that same setup for mine. But those shocks run like 1500 for front and about 1200 for rear. With control arms and rear leaf pack or any other upgrade it will be close to 3k. How did you get them for that good prise?

Group Buys / Sales. There's a whole forum section dedicated to them. There's always something on sale, just buy it piece by piece. I got my SPC UCA's in a group buy, and the Foxs / Dakars in a vendor sale. All for under $2300. If I paid retail that would've cost me $2700~+

Fox 2.5 non resi fronts and 2.0 resi rears

Stock height out of the box, which seems to be about 2 inches of thread showing at the top.

@Broheim for adjusting did you just lift the front end and spin the collar?

Yes lifted the front and let it droop.
Used plenty of wd40 or the same type of lube and gave it a spin.

do you have the part # for the extended travel coilovers? some say 0-2" of lift is all you can get out of these.

I got 2.5s with DSC sitting in a box. Plan on swapping coil springs to 14" 650 lbs before install. I have a 3rd gen, so the consensus I've gathered is upgrade to 650 springs to minimize preload. I believe 2nd gens are ok with the 600. I'll keep y'all posted.

Ok first off this is the completely wrong thread to post in. Now that that’s outta the way, no you cannot run springs intended for a coilover on 5100s. The 5100s need a stock or stock style coil spring and he coilover springs are flat bottom and incorrect.
