    This^^
I had roughly 1.5" over advertised height. (On 6112s). I loosened up, drove up on ramps and retorqued, now all is well. Feels softer/smoother as well.

Just reread that.... my issue was LCA bolts. Might still apply to your situation.

Not much help here they are brand new. If they were they wouldnt be that bad.
A special tool. Its probably fine on pressure. Something else is issue.
Careful when adjusting collar for preload try not to adjust anyways. Seen it many times people loosen allen set screw too much and collar jumps threads and gets cross threaded.

If I can figure out the problem I’ll definitely get it aligned again. Tomorrow when I’m off of work I’m going to loosen the uca and lca and see if that’s what holding me up. I can’t see the shock being this stiff. Only suspension I have right now is the good old bfgs. She’s stiff!

Don't wait time on the alignment . Lift it up, disconnect the spindle from the uca. Confirm you can move the uca by hand. Reconnect the spindle, torque only by hand with the weight of the truck on it. Start there

measure before and after , if it drops 1.5" you won't be wasting money on alignment . I sure as heck did not mean to get an alignment before ya fixed it .

If that's a 600 pound spring, and that's the amount of preload you have..then something is definitely wrong. You should be nowhere near 25" of height hub to fender with that shown in the picture.
The rear should be about 24" max with a 2" lift....from spacer or aal.
Did they leave the front spacer in?
If not, I'm thinking those arent 600# springs or wrong part #s for your application

A little of this and a little of that.
Agreed, should’ve immediately thought of that as a possibility. UCA bolt should be hand tight/snug at full droop with the front off the ground and then torqued to spec in the static position once on the ground. Same applies to shackles, etc. in the rear. Also, just out of curiosity did you reinstall the UCA bolt correctly?

    @Broheim

Agreed, 13”/600lbs shouldn’t be anywhere close to that. I’d be surprised if the coil doesn’t have some very minor play in it at full droop. Hell, with what little amount of preload, a few rotations loosening the retaining collar would probably free the spring entirely.

You shouldn’t be at 25 1/4” up front. Adjust the preload by 3/4” on both sides. My truck was at the exact same height up front as your truck is now and it rode super stiff. I adjusted the c/o’s from 25 1/4” to 23 3/4” and it rides a ton better. My ride is still on the firmer side since I have 650 springs but a ton better than before.

For those stating the uca needs to be torqued on the ground, you’re wrong in this instance. That applies to OEM style bushings, i.e. rear shackles, LCAs, the OEM UCA. Jba uses a polyurethane bushing that doesn’t bind, so it can be torqued anywhere in the range of motion.

That said, it certainly wouldn’t hurt for op to try that. I’m stumped as well as to what’s the issue. I personally think it’s just too much preload, but I’m following along for the outcome.

you have too much preload as everyone is stating your uca barely has any room to droop, just raise the adjuster....simple as that

use a punch to adjust it

i bet your cv joins are loving that height

Think I found my problem guys. Looks like the coil 3CE98322-6670-4555-989E-A329AAAA7606.jpg spring is a 039-39-600-a and from everything I can find it’s a 16 inch spring.
