I've searched around and can't find the right thread. But I remember reading somewhere you search by VIN to see if your vehicle has been inspected yet or not. I think this would also tell you if there was a frame replacement or undercoating applied by toyota.

Can someone direct me how to check? Cheers and thanks. Oh, it's a canadian truck by the way.

It's a 2002 first Gen. I actually ended up talking to Toyota Canada and the dealership where the truck was orginally sold. Both were super helpfull and pleasant (wish my dealership in my home town was the same..lol).

Looks like it hasn't been inspected yet, but as long as I get it in before Oct 31 of 2011 for an inspection (extended from Oct of 2010) and treatment/replacement I'm good to go until 2016 for their frame warranty.

Cheers and so long Gen 2, it's been short!
