I used a similar suit, and safety glass's while spraying on the cosmoline. Probably should of used some gloves, but cleaning up with some mineral spirits was easy enough. Actually its not that bad a job once you prepare yourself for it. Biggest issue i had was doing the job on a 95 degree day with high humidity. I was sweating like a pig....swear i lost 5 lbs or more in 2 hrs.

I use this, spray it on, make sure you use a large tip, it is thick and last for years. Good luck with your truck.

I sometime wanna drop my Tacoma off at the Ford factory and ask ‘em if they can do a proper frame coating on it.

I’m more curious on what the frame looks like then your suspension. Did you take everything apart or just shoot that shit over everything under there?

Whenever I do a suspension modification, I spray what I am working on and the frame. Here is my 1st lift kit and everything painted. I think this shit works quite well. Then again, I guess you could spray this shit all over everything if that's the way you want to do it.

I also use it on bumpers and side bars.

Again suspension looks nice but it’s not a suspension thread. Got anything from under the truck showing the rails and whatnot?

Look at the frame in front of the coilover.

Nice looks like it’s working pretty good. You blast anything inside the rails?

Yes, I use a high pressure washer if needed, let it dry for a day, spray the next.

I was wondering about the inside. Lots of guys say that’s where the real problem starts so the use a long nozzle to shoot the FF inside the frame rail. I was curious with this approach how you treat the inside of the frame.

Stick it in every hole you can and pull the trigger. I am not trying to keep this thing forever, it's just a toy and I will probably destroy it before it rots away. In my opinion, they are alot of fun to build, play off-road with them, but I think they are just another throw away vehicle and then start over. This is the 6th Toyota I currently own. Hence the throw away toys quote.
